The hotel has a Thyme restaurant attached. It’s a Premier Inn creation—think elevated pub grub without the pub smell. I had the burger. It was solid. Good chips. Properly salted.
Breakfast is the real MVP though. You can do a continental buffet (cereal, pastries, fruit) or go full “Full English”—bacon, sausages, eggs, beans, hash browns. It’s a carb-laden hug on a plate.
Pro tip: get the bottomless coffee. You’ll need it for the A45 traffic or the shopping spree you’re about to have at the nearby Rushden Lakes retail park. Just saying.
The Vibe: Quiet, Even With the Road
You might think, “It’s near a busy road—it must be loud!” Wrong, my friend. The soundproofing is sorcery. I heard more of the ice machine down the hall than I did any lorries.
The car park is huge and free. Yes, free. Take that, city hotels charging £25 a night. You can park like a lazy goose if you want.
There’s a little outdoor seating area, too. Perfect for taking an evening call or a sneaky vape if that’s your thing. Very chill.
