So, V was born in Seoul, South Korea, and grew up in a pretty normal family, except for the fact that he was clearly destined for greatness. He started training with Big Hit Entertainment (now HYBE) back in 2011, and the rest, as they say, is history. V debuted with BTS in 2013, and the group quickly gained a following in Korea and beyond.
