Think of a price that makes you do a double-take. For a major boxing match, Michael Buffer reportedly walks away with a cool $500,000 to $1 million. Yeah, you read that right. For a single night’s work that usually lasts less than a minute. It’s like getting paid for a movie cameo, but you only need to talk for ten seconds.
But wait, it gets even weirder. He gets paid that fee whether he shows up in person or just sends in a prerecorded version of the phrase. Imagine getting a $500,000 check for something you recorded on your phone last year. Crazy, right?
