It’s a two-hour, multi-sensory adventure that blends theatre, virtual reality, and a whole lot of running. You’ll touch, smell, and hear the invasion, and you might even get a little dusty. Spoiler: the aliens don’t care about your new shoes.
You start in a dimly lit room with a scientist who really wants you to look at some soil samples. It’s all very British and polite, which makes the chaos that follows even more hilarious.
The aliens show up (and they’re not polite)
Let me tell you about the moment a ten-foot-tall, screeching tripod bursts through a wall. I yelped. A grown man next to me screamed like a startled pug. The sound design is so good you’ll check your shoulders for Martians the whole ride home.
You get to wander through decimated streets, a creepy red-lit forest, and a wrecked train carriage. It’s like a horror movie set, but with better snacks in the gift shop—though I recommend skipping the “Martian blood” gummy worms.
