Farrar’s early career is like a treasure hunt for bad movie fans. He popped up in “The Last Vampire on Earth” (I swear that’s a real title) where he played a guy who, shocking twist, wasn’t a vampire. His character got killed by a cheap rubber bat in the first ten minutes. I’m not making that up. He later told an interviewer that the bat was a dog toy spray-painted black. You can’t buy that kind of honesty.
Then came the real bonkers stuff. He landed a role in a direct-to-DVD movie called “Sharkenstein”—a monster that’s half shark, half Frankenstein’s monster. If you think that sounds like a fever dream, you’re right. Farrar played a scientist who yells, “We’ve created a monster!” before getting eaten. It’s the kind of performance that makes you think, “This guy deserves a better movie… but I’m glad he did this one.”
