You need to book tickets in advance. Seriously. It sells out faster than doughnuts at a police station. Check the Natural History Museum’s website. The price is reasonable—about £20 per person. Worth every penny for the bragging rights alone.
Arrive early. The museum itself is a maze. You don’t want to be that person sprinting past dinosaur bones while trying to find the entrance. Trust me, I was that person. The dinosaurs judged me.
Oh, and don’t wear heels. You’ll be standing and walking on black floors that reflect the projections. Heels are a hazard and also very silly. Wear comfy shoes. Your feet will thank you, and so will the imaginary penguins at your feet.
