Here’s the thing: we all know it’s coming, but we’re pretending we don’t. You’re reading this article on your phone while waiting for a bus, hoping I have a secret link to a release date. I don’t. Nobody does.
Rockstar is playing the long game. They want to squeeze every dollar out of GTA V Online until the literal last second. So expect an announcement sometime in mid-2026, right before the main game drops.
Until then, keep grinding those nightclub sales. Keep avoiding Oppressor Mk IIs. Because when GTA 6 Online finally lands, you’ll want to be ready—not rich, just ready for the next generation of chaos.
So, when will it come out? Late 2026 for consoles, late 2026 to 2027 for PC. Mark your calendar in pencil, not ink. And remember: the wait is half the fun—or at least that’s what we tell ourselves to feel better about the loading screens.
