Historically, wives were expected to be domestic goddesses, managing the household and raising the kids. And let's not forget the infamous "obey your husband" vow, which thankfully has been largely phased out. Today, wives are expected to be equal partners in every sense of the word.
In many traditional societies, wives were also expected to be skilled homemakers, able to cook, clean, and manage the household finances. And while these skills are still valuable today, they're no longer the only Expectations placed on wives. Modern wives are also expected to be independent, career-driven, and emotionally intelligent.
