This one is for the brain trust—literally. SLaM (as it’s lovingly called) is the UK’s biggest provider of mental health services. They cover a population of 1.2 million people in South London and beyond.
They’re also the brains behind the Bethlem Royal Hospital, aka “Bedlam,” which sounds scary but is now a world-class psychiatric center. No more straitjackets, just lots of therapy and good coffee.
Mental health is serious, but this trust makes it cool to talk about your feelings. We love to see it.
