Walk in, and your jaw will drop. The roof is a giant glass dome, so during daytime shows, you’re essentially partying under a skylight. Very on-brand for a place called “Roundhouse.”
The main floor is a massive circle, and the balconies wrap around like a giant pearl necklace. Pro tip: Get to the balcony bar early. The view is killer, and you can actually breathe.
There’s also a bar in the basement, called the “VRY” (Very Round Yes?), that serves decent cocktails and has these weird, sexy, dark lighting. Perfect for pretending you’re in a spy movie between sets.
But Where Do You Eat First?
You can’t go to the Roundhouse without fueling up. Camden Market is right there, so grab a naughty but nice halloumi fries or a giant burrito from one of the stalls.
If you want a proper sit-down, “The Blues Kitchen” on Camden High Street is a fifteen-minute stumble away. They do amazing ribs and live blues music. It’s like the Roundhouse’s scrappy, blues-loving cousin.
Or, for a total wild card, try “Dishoom” in King’s Cross (a short Uber away). It’s a Bombay-style café, and the bacon naan roll is life-changing. Seriously, you’ll thank me later.
